Parkinson’s disease is a complex disease of neural circuitry that impacts virtually every aspect of the person’s life, from movement, to sensing, to cognition. This progressive disease ultimately renders even the most fundamental aspects of daily life a significant challenge. To date, the cause of Parkinson’s disease is unknown and there is no cure. To understand, treat, and ultimately cure, Parkinson’s disease and other neurological diseases requires a comprehensive and coordinated technology-driven effort at the intersection of fundamental neuroscience, neuroengineering and neurotechnology, data sciences, and clinical translation, outside the traditional avenues of scientific research in this area.
Here we have some information on Science Side of Parkinson’s disease, as well as the Human Side of Parkinson’s disease.
