The primary mission of the McCamish Parkinson’s Disease Innovation Program is to drive Parkinson’s research in Atlanta and surrounding regions of Georgia.  Research spans from basic investigation at the interface of neuroscience, engineering, data science, and clinical science, to applied efforts that have the potential for translation and commercialization.  Through our Blue Sky Research Program, we support technology-driven research projects across a range of different lines of investigation. Our Blue Sky Research Teams are rapidly growing, made up of highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary members off our community who utilize a range of research facilities and resources that enable this work across our community.

Not a scientist? That’s ok! Here is why we think what we are doing is different, in lay terms.
